How It's Made

Step 1: Forming the Shape

• Hand-built using local red clay
• Designed with small round loop handles and a flared crown
• Dried slowly in open air

Step 2: First Kiln Firing

• Fired in a traditional Moroccan kiln
• Hardened and prepped for painting

Step 3: Painting the Design

• Painted with natural pigments in blue, orange, red, green, and yellow
• Each element (eye, lashes, lips, crown) is painted without stencils
• Inspired by both Amazigh motifs and mid-century modern line work

Step 4: Glazing & Final Firing

• Sealed with a clear gloss glaze
• Final firing locks in the design
